Winter break started on December 19 and we headed to Ankeny on the 20th.
It was great to celebrate Christmas with my mom and sister with her family. After lunch and presents, we headed to the Big 4 Classic in Des Moines. The kids loved watching 2 basketball games.
The next morning we headed to the Wisconsin Dells for 3 days. Lots of family fun before Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve was spent at home. After church and dinner the kids got to open their new pjs.
Christmas morning came and our kids woke up at 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30. Somehow we kept them in a bed till 7:00. Lovely! They were so excited to see what Santa brought.
The kids had to go on a scavenger hunt around the house that Santa put together.
Each stop had a present for each kid and a couple pieces of puzzle. At the end the girls put it together.
The last clue said to check dad's computer.
They finally figured out Santa is sending us to Disney World during spring break.
Yes! They're very excited.
