Busy Busy

Last week we participated in the VanderWaal Olympics in Norwalk, IA. It was a great time to get together with my mom's family. Many of the my cousins have kiddos now, and they like to play with each other too. The eggs race was our kids favorite game. Lots of fun was had by all, even though it was really windy.

This weekend we had our first bonfire. The girls had smores with their friend Meg. Once everyone was in bed, Tony and I hung out at the fire. It was great just sitting and listening to everything around us. Saturday and Sunday we focused on landscaping the yard, cleaning the house and laundry. Yuck! The girls had a tball game today. Each girls hit the ball off a pitch today and were very excited.

 

Now we are off to another busy week. Elise is finished with preschool and will now hang out at home with Colin and their temporary sitter Haley. This is my last week with kids at school. Carly has two more weeks of school, and then we will be off to summer break. Everyone is excited for upcoming vacations. Enjoy the great weather!
